Change the message

Today at MacKenzie High Schools reunion picnic 3 people were injured because of being shot. When will we start changing the message that we send to our children. Lets stop sending all of the negative messages to our children and begin to teach them a better way to live. Just my thoughts

Black Business

Today I went to a Black Business conference and I learned so much about supporting each other in business. I also learned that the black community is behind when it comes to owning something that will benefit us in the future but we are first when it comes to spending money on material things. We need to get it together and learn how to support and build a network of positive influences.

Presentation

Since I've been mentoring young people I have been trying to teach success. Parents need to understand that success starts at home. Love your children not only in words but put in the work. Children need to feel wanted and buying them things won't do. Just my thoughts.

Today's message

I was so proud to be able to give the key-note speech and the 8th grade promotional ceremony. All of the children that our team has worked with were getting promoted to the 9th grade with a good G.P.A.
